Information requested

Details of any studies ordered by the Scottish Government or Scottish Government agencies, or studies relied on by the Scottish Government or Scottish Government agencies to determine the following:

  1. The electricity which will be used by electric cars between now and 2040.
  2. Whether Scotland has and will have sufficient generating capacity to cope with the extra electricity needed when car owners change from petrol and diesel cars between now and 2040
  3. Whether Scotland has and will have sufficient transmission capacity to cope with the extra electricity needed when car owners change from petrol and diesel cars between now and 2040.
  4. Whether Scotland has and will have sufficient recharging capacity to cope with the extra electricity needed when car owners change from petrol and diesel cars between now and 2040.
