The latest monthly results for consumer sentiment in Scotland based on a survey of households’ current sentiment and future expectations of economic performance, household finances and attitudes to spending.

Economy statistics

The Scottish Consumer Sentiment Indicator publication is released on a quarterly basis. The most recent publication is for 2023 Quarter 2 (April to June)

Monthly data are also available, and are updated each month in advance of the full quarterly release. These updates are usually published on the same day as GDP statistics, with results one month ahead of the latest monthly GDP.
