Scotland’s Cladding Remediation Programme: ad hoc update June 2025

An ad hoc release providing data and information on the progress of the Cladding Remediation Programme in Scotland

Single Building Assessments and remediation

Single Building Assessments

As at 30 April 2025, the Scottish Government Cladding Remediation Programme was aware that two Single Building Assessments (SBAs), based on the specification published in June 2024, had been completed. One of these requires an Additional Work Assessment. Additional Work Assessments are required as a result of additional information coming to light in the period between the SBA report being completed, and the date on which the Scottish Ministers were satisfied that works had been completed.

A further 13 SBAs had been started but not completed.

Of the 15 SBAs that were either in progress or completed on 30 April 2025, 13 were funded by the Scottish Government and one by a developer and funding had not been agreed for one.

Remediation

As at the 30 April 2025, the two completed SBAs identified that remedial works were required. Works had commenced for one of these but not the other.
