Review of SSLN questionnaires: consultation findings

A stakeholder consultation on the SSLN pupil and teacher questionnaires.


The Scottish Survey of Literacy and Numeracy (SSLN) is an annual sample survey which monitors national performance of school children at P4, P7 and S2 in literacy and numeracy in alternate years. The survey also includes pupil and teacher questionnaires on opinions of aspects of literacy and numeracy.

To ensure that the SSLN questionnaires continue to meet users’ needs, the Scottish Government conducted a stakeholder consultation between December 2014 and January 2015.
