Correction
A correction was published on 17 December 2025.
An error was identified in Table 9: Local government employment by local authority and gender, Headcount (Table 9b: Females).
The figures for the latest time period in the table are correct. However, the annual change and percentage change figures for Table 9b were calculated based on the previous time period and not the latest one. These figures have now been corrected.
This error occurred due to a processing error.
The latest statistics cover the period Q3 2025 and were first published on 16 December 2025.
