Public Contracts Scotland website submissions on the 24th October 2022: FOI release

Information requested

You asked for all bids received between 11.00 am and 1.00pm on the 24th October 2022 through the Public Contracts Scotland website, along with the associated submission deadline times and procurement titles. You did not require other details (eg bidders details), just procurement title, deadline time and times when bids were received (within the hours of 11.00am to 1.00pm).

Response

I enclose a copy of some of the information that you requested. The table attached includes the creation date, closing date and time, notice reference, Contracting Authority name and the dates and times of all submissions for the post boxes which closed on the 24th October.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested. The information released has been collated from the Public Contracts Scotland audit logs.

An exemption under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 has been applied because we do not hold some of the information you have requested; we are unable to report on all post box submissions received on the 24th October. This would require a system developer to create new reporting functionality within PCS.

Public authorities are not required to create information in order to answer a request. We are however, able to compile information from readily-available resources held by the public authority; this is not the same as creating new information.
