Partial business and regulatory impact assessment (BRIA) prepared to support the Scottish Government’s consultation on its statutory inputs into the strategic review of charges for the 2027 to 33 regulatory period.
Declaration
I have read the partial Business and Regulatory Impact Assessment, and I am satisfied that, given the available evidence, it represents a reasonable view of the likely costs, benefits and impact of the leading options as they are understood at this time. I am satisfied that business impact has been considered and will continue to be assessed with the support of businesses in Scotland throughout the options development process.
I am also satisfied that officials have considered the impact on consumers as required by the Consumer Scotland Act 2020 in completion of the Consumer Duty section of this partial BRIA.
