Title of Policy: NHSScotland Smoking and Vaping Policy.

Summary of aims and desired outcomes of Policy: The aim of the policy is to provide a framework to improve health by offering support to those who smoke or vape and would like to stop and; support employee’s legal rights to be protected from exposure to tobacco smoke and the harmful effects of second-hand smoke.

This is a refresh of the previous Tobacco, Alcohol and Other Substances NHSScotland PIN policy (January 2003).
