Title of Policy: NHSScotland Menopause and Menstrual Health Policy
Summary of aims and desired outcomes of Policy: The aim of the policy is to support employees and minimise the impact that menstrual health and menopause symptoms can have at work. It also aims to create an open culture where employees feel confident asking for help and getting the adjustments they need by increasing awareness through education, inclusive discussions, and compassionate leadership.
This is a refresh of the previous Interim National Menopause and Menstrual Health Policy for NHS Scotland (October 2023).
