The proposal will improve the wellbeing of the people of Scotland (including children and young people) by supporting improved access to eyecare services in the community closer to home, by enabling Health Boards to enter into arrangements with IP optometrists and OMPs for the provision of GOS in the Health Board’s area to patients who have certain anterior eye conditions.
