In recent years the Scottish Government has published a series of reports setting a new vision and strategy focussed on establishing Scotland as a top performing start-up nation. Examples include the Scottish Technology Ecosystem Review, NSET and the Ana Stewart’s review of women in enterprise.
Development of the National Strategy for Economic Transformation was supported by an Advisory Council. The Advisory Council included organisations from within the Scotland CAN DO collective. Further stakeholder engagement that informed development is summarised at Scotland's National Strategy for Economic Transformation: stakeholder engagement analysis - gov.scot (www.gov.scot).
Delivery plans for NSET programmes were published in October 2022 at https://www.gov.scot/publications/scotlands-national-strategy-economic-transformation-delivery-plans-october-2022/ alongside impact assessments for the programmes.
