Information received from universities on provisional figures for recruitment into initial teacher education (ITE) in 2016 to 2017 and 2017 to 2018.
The information in the tables below on recruitment into initial teacher education and teacher vacancies will inform the 2018-2019 teacher workforce planning exercise which provides guidance to the Scottish Funding Council (SFC) on setting student intakes to initial teacher education. This information is not formal statistics.
