Alongside the national initiatives described above that are helping to reduce digital exclusion, adopting an intuitive interface for the Tracker that complies with accessibility standards and is compatible with older devices and low-bandwidth connections can help to reduce socio-economic barriers to access for some user groups. This also reflects feedback from the Tracker Design Group to reduce the digital divide and help users find relevant information. While no direct negative impacts are anticipated, an accessibility audit and user testing have been carried out to confirm that the design meets these objectives.
