Human Rights Bill for Scotland: discussion paper
This discussion paper sets out the Scottish Government’s current thinking on a potential new Human Rights Bill for Scotland.
2.14 Impact Assessments
The Bill will be accompanied by a number of impact assessments on its introduction to the Scottish Parliament. Work on impact assessments has been ongoing for a number of years, drawing on the wealth of academic research and published evidence already available, including evidence gathered through the 2023 consultation. Work on impact assessments will continue as policy proposals are further refined in the coming period.
