Includes statistics on new house building by sector, Affordable Housing Supply Programme (AHSP) and sales of social sector housing (including Right to Buy) up to end June 2014 with social sector new build and AHSP figures available up to September 2014.

1. Northern Ireland are currently reviewing their new build methodology and so no figures are available for the year to end June 2014.
2. Housing association new build here relates to homes built for social rent and those built for low cost home ownership. It does not include mid-market rent which is included in the private sector figures.
3. Approvals are used rather than starts when looking at housing association new build. Approval is the point at which funding is granted.
