Annual report to The Scottish Ministers, written by Professor Gordon Findlater, His Majesty's Inspector of Anatomy for Scotland, providing a resume of duties undertaken in the role during the period 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025.

Inspections

Inspections were carried out at and information received from:

Dundee Institute for Healthcare Simulation Surgical Skills Centre (DIHS), Ninewells Hospital

ENT Temporal Bone Laboratory, Ninewells Hospital

Hard Tissue Laboratory, School of Dentistry

The University of Strathclyde applied for and was granted a premises licence during the time of the inspection period. However, since nothing had changed and no work using cadaver material had been carried out since the award of the licence, the inspector felt that it was not necessary on this occasion to carry out an inspection of their licensed areas.
