Information requested

A copy of any emails, instant messages, texts, or handwritten notes by the permanent secretary or director-generals which mention the Reform party in the context of the Holyrood election.

Response

Please find attached requested material from the Permanent Secretary and a Director-General which mention the Reform party in the context of the Holyrood election. This includes a formal letter and an email.

The email exchange notes that International Trade and Investment Director Richard Rollison, as the Director nominated to provide civil service liaison support for Reform in any government formation discussions, would have been required to withdraw from the UK Real Estate and Investment Forum to perform this role if Reform had been involved in negotiations.
