Details and cost of office equipment provided to staff working from home: FOI release

Information requested

Please provide a table of all the office equipment - for use at home - you've provided for staff in every financial year since 2020-21, including 2025-26, with its corresponding cost.

Please breakdown this annual amount by category of equipment e.g. IT, chairs, desks.

A standard operator chair and a folding desk can be requested from a central mailbox. Until 2025, this also provided wired keyboards, wired mice and a laptop stand, however, these were moved to being purchase by teams in 2025.

Computer monitors are purchased by teams if required.

*Operator chairs are refurbished from existing stock which was purchased more than five years ago so have been allocated nil value as they are past depreciation value.

The FOIs outlined above provide general information on costs going back to 2020. However, the detailed records for 2020-23 have been deleted in line with data retention.
