Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.

Information requested

Could you supply all documentation held by the government, including correspondence sent and received (including internal), minutes/notes from meetings, briefings and analysis, about Kate Forbes signing the memorandum of understanding between the Scottish Government and the Ile-de-France region, from the last two months?

Response

I enclose a copy of the information you requested.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because exemptions under sections 38(1)(b) (personal information), 30(b)(i) (free and frank advice) and 30(b)(ii) (free and frank exchange of views) of FOISA apply to that information. The reasons why those exemptions apply are explained in the Annex to this letter.
