1. Copies of any and all pre-meeting briefings provided to the First Minister ahead of his meeting(s) with US president Donald Trump in the week commencing 8 September 2025
2. Copies of any and all recordings, readouts and notes from any and all meetings between the First Minister and US president Donald Trump in the week commencing 8 September 2025.

I enclose a copy of some of the information you requested. In response to question 1, please see Release Annex A. Please note that the request has been interpreted to mean briefings relating to meetings the First Minister had in preparation for his meeting with US President Trump.
In response to question 2, please see Release Annex B.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because exemptions under sections 38(1)(b) and 32(1)(a) (i) of FOISA applies to that information. The reasons why these exemptions apply are explained below.
