Government Expenditure and Revenue Scotland (GERS) news release queries: FOI release

This request relates to the following news release:

Please provide the following information:

(1.) How many of the team of civil servants who compile GERS had sight of that news release before it was published?

(2.) How many of them raised any objections about its content?

(3.) Please list those who did raise objections, either by name or job title.

Response

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested. All the civil servants who compiled Government Expenditure and Revenue Scotland (GERS) were sighted on the news release. There is no record of any of them raising objections about its content.

This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested.
