How many Scottish Government purchases, owned or distributed phones, laptops and tablets have been reported lost, stolen or missing in 2024? Response

During the reporting year 2024, 28 laptops were reported as lost or stolen, 38 mobile phones were reported as lost or stolen and 2 tablets were reported as lost or stolen.

Of the 28 laptops reported lost or stolen during 2024, the individual cost per device is approximately £518.17 and a total cost based on the total number of devices is £14,522.76.

Of the 38 mobile phones reported lost or stolen during 2024, the individual cost per device is approximately £266 and total cost based on the total number of devices is £10,108.00.

Of the 2 tablets reported lost or stolen during 2024, the individual cost per devices is approximately £399 and the total cost based on the total number of devices is £798.00.
