Information requested

Any correspondence between the Scottish Government and public bodies relating to the subject of procurement and illegal Israeli settlements between July 1st 2024 and June 16th 2025.

Response

I enclose a copy of most of the information you requested. I can additionally advise that the Minister for Business, Richard Lochhead MSP, wrote to public bodies in October 2025. An exemption under section 38(1) of FOISA applies to some of the information you have requested, as it relates to personal information.

This exemption is not subject to the 'public interest test', so we are not required to consider if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exemption.
