The most recent inspection reports (published or unpublished) for the following schools in Dundee:
- Fintry Primary School
- Longhaugh Nursery School
- Ballumbie Primary School
If no inspections have been carried out recently, I would be grateful if you could confirm the date of the most recent inspection (if any) for each of the schools listed.
Response
Fintry Primary School was inspected in January 2020. The report of this inspection is attached at Annex A - C.
We do not hold an inspection report for Longhaugh Nursery School. It has not been inspected by Education Scotland since it opened in October 2019.
We do not hold an inspection Report for Ballumbie Primary School. It has not been inspected by Education Scotland since it opened in August 2011.
Schools are selected for inspection each year on a sampling basis. The sampling approach uses established criteria, which includes the length of time since last inspection. Fintry Primary School, Longhaugh Nursery School or Ballumbie Primary School would be considered for inspection as part of that sampling process. Schools receive written notification 2½ weeks before the start of an inspection.
