The Scottish Government pay scales for grades AA - G6 to include min and max points and any spinal points in between.

With effect from 1 April 2021 the pay ranges within the Scottish Government Main (SGM) pay bargaining unit are:

The grades AA - G6 refer to civil service grading structures prior to the delegation of pay and terms and conditions to civil service employers. The broad equivalents of these within the SGM pay structure is:
- A3 - AA/AO
- A4 - AO
- B1 - EO
- B2 - HEO
- B3 - SEO
- C1 - G7
- C2/C3 - G6
