First Minister’s volunteering session at Covid facility: FOI release

Information requested

Information about the First Minister's volunteering session at the EICC. 

1. Any briefing notes prepared by the First Minister in advance of the visit.

2. The number of SG staff who attended the EICC with the FM and their job title (I am not seeking names - if a person could be identified from their job title please provide their department and civil service grade).

3. The length of time set aside in the FM's diary for the visit.

4.
 Whether the FM has performed any other volunteering sessions to date at Covid facilities which she or the SG has not disclosed publicly. If so please provide the location, date, length of time spent there and the duties the FM performed.

Response

1. No briefing notes were prepared by the First Minister.

2. The First Minister was accompanied by a First Minister’s Private Office, Private Secretary (civil service Grade C2).

3. Two hours were identified in the diary for the visit.

4. No information is held by Scottish Government relating to this request.

In relation to two of the above four requests for information, while our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested.
