Our system does not record the area of inspection on which each HM Inspector focuses, so we have provided you with the total number of HM Inspectors, rather than those who only focus on school inspections.

We hold data on the staffing levels within the dedicated inspection administration team from 2018 when the team was created and have included this below. It should be noted that these staff members provide support to HM Inspections across all sectors - not just those involved in school inspections.
