Education Scotland is the national improvement agency for education in Scotland. We are charged with supporting quality and improvement in Scottish education and thereby securing the delivery of better learning experiences and outcomes for learners of all ages.

Our role means that, in addition to supporting the system and gathering evidence on the performance of the system, we also provide professional analysis and interpret a wide range of data relating to Scottish education, adding value to Scottish education by making sense of the system in its totality.
