Information requested
You asked for details of the information gathered in order to make my decision to provide you with a response to your review request in relation to FOI reference number 202100253469 and for can you send me all the letters received from the company specifying commercial confidentiality requirements relating to foi responses.

Attached is a copy of some of the information you requested.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because of exemptions under section 36 (2) of FOISA applies to that information. The reason why this exemption applies is because this information was communicated between the commercial party and the legal advisors providing that advice. I have however limited the information withheld to detailed parts of the communication that would still remain commercially sensitive to the business. I have also redacted personal information of people within the email trail as this pertains to section 38 (1)(b) of FOISA.
The purpose of other redactions within the document provided to you is in relation to individuals involved in the communication. In other parts of the document there are small pieces of detailed commercial information that if released could allow a commercial operator to gain advantage – that is it would be of commercial benefit to others if it were in the public domain – therefore I have redacted these details.
