Information requested

Given the recent spike in cases, can you please advise the numbers of people who have returned a positive covid test who are fully vaccinated.

Response

As per Public Health Scotland published data, the COVID-19 case rate remains higher in unvaccinated individuals compared to vaccinated. From 07 August – 13 August 2021, the case rate in unvaccinated populations was 397 COVID-19 cases per 100,000 individuals, compared to 110 COVID-19 cases per 100,000 individuals vaccinated with 2 doses.
