Copies of correspondence to and from the Convenor of the City of Edinburgh Council Housing, Homelessness and Fair Work Committee sent to the former Minister for Local Government, Housing and Planning, in the past 2 years, and Cabinet Secretary for Social Justice, Housing and Local Government since May 2021.

Attached is a copy of all of the information requested. Details of the correspondence you requested can be found in Annex A.

An exemption(s) under section s.38(1)(b) of FOISA applies to some of the information you have requested. Some of the correspondence you have requested included the personal details of some Government and Council officials. Since the individuals involved do not have a public profile, and their
personal information such as names and contact information is not in the public domain, this information has been redacted.

This exemption is not subject to the 'public interest test', so we are not required to consider if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exemption.
