Information regarding all Scottish universities: FOI release
Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002
Information requested
1. A list of all the universities that are located in Scotland please? Information to include with the universities: Establishment Number, URN, LA (code and name), DCSF School Number, Establishment Name, Type Of Establishment (code and name), Number on Roll, Datazone(code and name).
2. The status whether each school establishment, including nursery up to universities, is currently closed or open as well in the file.

Under section 25(1) of FOISA, we do not have to give you information which is already reasonably accessible to you. If, however, you do not have internet access to obtain this information from the website(s) listed, then please contact me again and I will send you a paper copy.
A list of universities along with their Local Authority names can also be found under the attached Annex A.
Under section 17(1) of FOISA, the Scottish Government does not have some of the other information you have requested: Establishment code and number, LA code, DCSF School Number, Number on roll, Datazone code and name.
2. Details of the status of each school in Scotland which is open or closed can be found here: https://www.gov.scot/publications/school-contact-details/.
As for the status of nurseries, colleges and universities that are open or closed, while our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested, in line with section 17(1) of FOISA.
You may however wish to contact the Care Inspectorate at enquiries@careinspectorate.gov.scot, who may be able to help you with details of which nurseries are open or closed.
