Higher examination statistics by local authority 2019-2020: FOI release

Information requested

Please list all state secondary schools in the Dundee City, Perth and Kinross, Angus and Fife council areas.

Please also detail the following information on these schools:

a. SIMD data
b. Percentage of pupils who could have taken higher examinations but did not (in 2019 and 2020)
c. Percentage of pupils who could have taken higher examinations but achieved no higher passes (in 2019 and 2020)
d. Percentage of pupils who could have taken higher examinations and achieved one or more higher passes (in 2019 and 2020)
e. Percentage of pupils who could have taken higher examinations and achieved three or more higher
passes (in 2019 and 2020)
f. Percentage of pupils who could have taken higher examinations and achieved five or more higher passes (in 2019 and 2020)

For b) to f) this information was requested for both S5 and S6 year groups separately.

Attached is a copy of all of the information requested in the format asked for.

We have included a number of notes along with the data you requested in order to aid interpretation. In particular please note that we do not hold information on which pupils could have taken Highers and so this has been interpreted as being the S5 or S6 school roll as recorded in the previous September's pupil census (e.g. the September 2019 pupil census has been used for 2020 results).
