Please note that these figures reflect devices reported lost or stolen and may include devices later recovered.

With regard to the money spent on replacing these devices, this is formal notice under section 17(1) of the FOISA that the Scottish Government does not hold this information. Our records reflect the type of equipment lost or stolen but not the model, cost or manufacturer. Any request to replace lost or stolen phones, laptops or tablets would be processed as a new request and not specifically as a replacement for previously lost or stolen devices.
