First Minister's trip to France: FOI release

Information requested

You asked for:

1) Between the commemoration of D-Day and the England vs Scotland match in the Women's Football World Cup, how many days did the First Minister spend in France (inclusive of both days)?

2) How were the costs of the First Minister's trip to France during this time met?

3) How much was spent on travel and accommodation during this trip?

4) An itinerary outlining any meetings that took place between the First Minister and others in her capacity as First Minister during this trip?

Response

1) Between the commemoration of D-Day and the England vs Scotland match in the Women's Football World Cup, how many days did the First Minister spend in France (inclusive of both days)?

The First Minister spent a total of three full days in France plus two partial days for travel.

2) How were the costs of the First Minister's trip to France during this time met?

As with all official trips, the cost for travel was paid for by the Scottish Government.

3) How much was spent on travel and accommodation during this trip?

And

4) An itinerary outlining any meetings that took place between the First Minister and others in her capacity as First Minister during this trip?

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide the information you have requested for June 2019 because an exemption under section 27(1) (information intended for future publication) of FOISA applies to that information.
