  • How many vehicles, which were purchased after the Forestry and Land Management (Scotland) Act 2018 came into force, have undergone Scottish Forestry rebranding?
Response

The answer to your questions are:

  • Scottish Forestry do not own any vehicles. Scottish Forestry vehicles are part of the Forestry and Land Scotland fleet and are “leased” to Scottish Forestry by means of an agreed Pre Determined Charge Rate. Scottish Forestry have 17 vehicles on their fleet through this arrangement.
  • 11 vehicles, which were purchased prior to the Forestry and Land Management (Scotland) Act 2018 coming into force, have undergone Scottish Forestry rebranding. The remaining 6 vehicles are due to be rebranded in September.
  • All vehicles currently in use by Scottish Forestry were purchased prior to 1 April 2019. No vehicles have been purchased for use by Scottish Forestry after Forestry and Land Management (Scotland) Act 2018 came into force.
