Attainment reports for certain schools in Edinburgh: FOI release

I would like to receive current attainment/achievement reports and summary reports on the following schools in Edinburgh please:

The Royal High School
Boroughmuir High School
James Gillespie's High School
Gracemount High School
Portobello High School

I would also like to know how the grading system works in comparison to Ofsted in England, for example, Inspectors at Ofsted use a 4-point grading scale to make judgements during inspections: grade 1: outstanding. grade 2: good. grade 3: requires improvement.

Our Inspectors use a six-point grading scale when making judgements:

• excellent means outstanding, sector-leading
• very good means major strengths
• good means important strengths with some areas for improvement
• satisfactory means strengths just outweigh weaknesses
• weak means important weaknesses
• unsatisfactory means major weaknesses.
