Information on Education Scotland’s CCTV and support contract.

Education Scotland do not currently have a contract, or agreement in place for CCTV maintenance or support. Information about Education Scotland’s contracts register can be obtained from our website: https://education.gov.scot/who-we-are/policies-and-information/Procurement.

As an Agency of the Scottish Government, Education Scotland utilise Scottish Government frameworks and contracts. Information about Scottish Government’s frameworks and contracts can be obtained from the link below:

A variety of cameras are in place within the buildings Education Scotland occupy which include Panasonic and Hikvision. There are 22 cameras in use. As Education Scotland occupy space in buildings managed by private landlords there may be further brands and numbers of cameras in place under their responsibility.
There is not a breakdown of spend specific to CCTV maintenance available.
Arrangements for CCTV and support will be reviewed during 2019-20 and 2020-21.
Responsibility for physical security and facilities management services falls within the Head of Finance, Infrastructure and Analysis within Education Scotland.
