Response

I have numbered our response for ease of reference.

1 and 2. Please refer to Annex A of this request which is the Inspection Defect Report for 4 March 2017 to 4 March 2019 and details all carriageway defects identified during safety inspections.

3 / 4 / 8 / 9 and 10. All of the information you have requested is available from; https://www.transport.gov.scot/media/44436/frequently-asked-questions-about-the-scottish-trunk-road-network-january-2019.pdf

5. Please refer to Annex B which details all complaints relating to the carriageway, received by our operating company in the two years preceding 4 March 2019. An exception under regulation 11(2) of the EIRs (personal information) applies to some of the information requested because it is personal data of a third party and disclosing it would contravene the data protection principles in Article 5(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation and in section 34(1) of the Data Protection Act 2018. This exception is not subject to the ‘public interest test’, so we are not required to consider if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exception.
