Could you please confirm how many staff at
(i) the Scottish Government's core departments and
(ii) the Scottish Government's external agencies received pay progression increases in each of the last five financial years, including 2018/19 to today’s date.

In each of the above financial years, please also specify the total value of pay progression increases.
 
For each of these years, please also detail how many employees received pay progression increases in each £10,000 salary band.
 
Response
 
The answers to your questions are detailed in the tables at Annex A and covers staff below the Senior Civil Service (SCS). Pay for the SCS is reserved to the UK Government and their pay policies do not include the provision for pay progression.
