The publication records that a total of 4,978 people joined Fair Start Scotland during the period 3 April to 28 September 2018.

Information on employment outcomes, i.e. counts of individuals who have achieved a job start, a short job outcome (entered employment which lasted at least 13 weeks) or a sustained job outcome (entered employment which lasted at least 26 weeks) will be published in future statistics releases, at an appropriate point in the delivery of the service, recognising the time required to support eligible groups into work. We record whether or not an individual has started employment and whether or not they are still in employment at 13 and 26 weeks but do not hold information on intermediate status.
