Details of any Scottish Government payments on bottled water in the last three years, including a full breakdown of the costs, quantity and date purchased.

Water coolers/fountains
All water coolers/fountains used in Scottish Government premises are connected to the mains water supply and chill filtered for use. The Scottish Government ceased using bottled water on these types of machine prior to the period of your enquiry.

The answer to your question is while our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested. The reasons why we don’t have this information are explained below.

The Scottish Government does not have the information.
The Scottish Government does not have the information you have asked for because the Scottish Government is not responsible for the purchasing of bottled water. This is purchased by the Catering Contractor and we do not hold this information. This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested.
