Information requested

The total value of Agri Environment Climate Scheme (AECS) management payments for 2017 management, claimed in 2017 Single Application Forms, and, the actual amount (2017 management payments) paid to date to claimants of the AECS scheme.

I would also like to know the number of applications to the AECS submitted in 2018, in particular, the number of agri environment scheme applications, the number of applications for slurry storage and the number of applications for improved public access.

Response

I’ve been forwarded your request for information on AECS and the information you require is:

• The total value of AECS 2017 Management claims is £14.72m.  To date, £3.13m has been paid out.
• The total number of applications submitted for AECS in 2018 is 916.  Of the 916, 98 applications were for Improved Public Access, 60 applications were for Slurry Stores and 758 were for Agri-environment options.
