Scottish Offshore Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) - fisheries management measures: fisheries assessment – East of Gannet and Montrose Fields NCMPA
These assessments look at the fishing activity occurring within each offshore MPA and SAC and assess the potential impacts of this activity on the protected features within each site. This assessment is for East of Gannet and Montrose Fields NCMPA and has been updated following public consultation.
7. Conclusion
In regard to best available evidence, Scottish Ministers conclude that, provided that appropriate management measures for fishing activities identified above are implemented, any remaining fishing activities would not hinder the conservation objectives of this Nature Conservation Marine Protected Area.
