Emergency Department Weekly Activity and Waiting Times in Scotland: Week ending 08/03/2015

2. Main findings

Over the week ending 23:59 on Sunday the 8^th March -

• There were 24,715 attendances to Scotland's 32 Emergency Departments.

• The proportion of attendances to those 32 Emergency Departments that were seen and subsequently admitted, transferred or discharged within 4 hours was 90.1%.

• 229 patients (0.9%) spent more than 8 hours and 18 patients (0.1%) spent more than 12 hours in the 32 Emergency Departments.
