Early learning and childcare data: consultation
This consultation sought views on the current and anticipated future use and needs of Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) data and was held from November 2015 to January 2016.
Due to the expansion of early learning and childcare (ELC) services in 2014, and plans for further expansion over the next few years, this in turn resulted in the need for both new and more detailed data for this sector.
A public consultation was undertaken in response to this need, with a particular focus on the Scottish Government ELC census collection, which had the greatest scope for change.
