4 Overview of Respondents

4.1 Respondent profiles

4.1.1 In total, 304 responses to the consultation were received, representing 70 organisations and 234 individuals. A list of the organisational respondents is provided in Appendix A.

4.1.2 The analysis identified some responses that were the same response with no or very limited changes, submitted multiple times. There were three sets of duplicate or very similar responses that were submitted 9, 7 and 2 times respectively. The sets of 9 and 2 responses were submitted by individuals. The set of 7 identical responses were submitted by 6 individuals, and 1 organisation. Given the low number of such responses and that they were submitted by different respondents (different names and emails), they have been treated as separate responses as they do not distort the overall analysis. A local campaign group that was operational at the time of the consultation was linked to some of these responses.

4.1.3 Respondents from organisations were assigned to sub-types and sectors as shown in Table 1 and Table 2. This enabled analysis of the types of organisations that had responded to each consultation question. The assignment of organisations to sub-type and sector is provided in Appendix A.

4.1.4 A breakdown of the respondent sub-type for each question is provided in Appendix C.
