Draft marine and coastal restoration plan: partial business and regulatory impact assessment

This partial business and regulatory impact assessment (BRIA) was developed to accompany our consultation on the draft Marine and Coastal Restoration Plan

Introduction

This assessment is undertaken to estimate the costs, benefits, and risks of the draft Marine and Coastal Restoration Plan (‘the plan’) that may have an impact on the public, private or third sector, or regulators. A Business and Regulatory Impact Assessment (BRIA) is one tool that forms part of the policy development cycle, and alongside other impact assessments, engagement, and consultation, can help in considering options and making decisions.
