Sex, gender identity, trans status - data collection and publication: guidance

Additional background information has been added on the development and purpose of the coding framework for free text responses. The coding framework has also been updated to change how 'intersex' responses are categorised.

A coding framework for free text responses to the trans status question has been added. The coding framework is designed to help statistics producers categorise the free text responses related to trans status.

Update to section on collecting data on non-binary groups to include reference to Non-binary Action Plan.

Section 13 added following the publication of new guidance from the Office for Statistics Regulation.
