Information requested
Please provide copies of all email correspondence between the Scottish Government (including ministers, civil servants, and special advisers) and employees of the Bank of England (ie anyone with an @bankofengland.co.uk email address). Please restrict the search to dates between 1st January 2021 and 3rd June 2022.

An exemption under section s.38(1) of FOISA applies to some of the information you have requested. This section of FOISA applies because it is concerned with the personal data of third parties. In this case, this also relates to details of Scottish Government officials (below the position of Director) and external correspondents.
This exemption is not subject to the 'public interest test', so we are not required to consider if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exemption.
